EMS music was well represented at the NWIBA Honor Band auditions today in Storm Lake!

11 dedicated students put in months of practice time and showed up before 6 am today to travel to Storm Lake to compete for a spot against hundreds of music students around Northwest Iowa.

Declan Riedesel, 7th grade bassoon, was selected and will perform at Dordt University on November 7th.

Several of our students were within a few points of being selected! We are so proud of ALL their hard work and can’t wait to watch them continue to grow as thriving young musicians!

Bravo for all your hard work leading up to today!
