Teacher, para, counselor, librarian, AEA staff, community college faculty, local leader: if you're an ISEA member, the Legal Issues Conference was built with you in mind.

3 rounds of breakout sessions let you focus on what matters most in your work:

• Understanding IPERS
• Trends in Educator Ethics Sanctions
• FMLA and Iowa Statutory Sick Leave
• Weingarten Rights (two-part intensive)
• Spotting the DFR

You'll also hear from Nate Willems, a Cedar Rapids labor attorney with Rush & Nicholson, former Iowa House member, and candidate for Iowa Attorney General. His session, "The Office of the Attorney General: Why It Matters to Public Education and Public Educators," explores why the state's top legal office matters to Iowa's public schools and the people who work in them.
