The way we treat each other in the hallway should match the way we treat each other online.
It's Digital Citizenship Week. Our students spend a lot of time on screens for school, for games, and to keep up with friends. Being a good digital citizen means thinking before you post, protecting your personal information, and speaking up when something online isn't right.
Families, here's a quick conversation starter for tonight: "What's one thing you'd never want posted about you online?" You might be surprised by the answers.
Acting responsibly doesn't stop when the screen turns on.

Hundreds of lunches. Every school day. Served with a smile.
It's National School Lunch Week, and we're giving a big thank-you to our Child Nutrition team. They're up early prepping meals; they know which students always ask for extra fruit, and they keep the lunch line moving so everyone gets fed and back to learning.
A good lunch and a kind word go a long way in a middle schooler's day. Our team gives both.

At Memorial, Community means taking care of others, and that includes checking in. Families, a simple "How are you really doing?" at dinner or in the car can open the door to a great conversation.
