👋 Hi JFK Families, my name is Mr. Wright and I am proud to serve as the principal of JFK Elementary! This is my 10th year at JFK, and I continue to be amazed by all we accomplish each year. Together, as a school community, we work in partnership as staff with students and families to make JFK great! In my free time, away from JFK, I can be found supporting my four (4) kids in all the activities they participate in. We are constantly on the go, enjoying the many opportunities the SFSD and Sioux Falls offer. If you see me out and about in the community, please stop and say hi! It is always nice to see a friendly smile and connect.
👋Hi JFK Families, my name is Miss Hoekstra, and I am thrilled to be serving as the Assistant Principal at JFK. This marks my fourth year working alongside our incredible students, staff, and families! My favorite part of my role is spending time in our classrooms and witnessing the fantastic work happening every single day. Listening to our students read, share their writing, and talk through their big ideas is always the highlight of my day. Outside of school, I love spending quality time with my family and friends, reading, cooking, taking walks with my dog, and playing pickleball. I’m an avid reader, so I’m always eager to chat about what I’m currently reading or hear what’s in your to-be-read pile! I am looking forward to another wonderful year of learning and growth for everyone.
