Your attitude shows in a way you feel about yourself and about your job. Just as important is the way you feel about the people you work with. Tense or difficult situation? Say something pleasant, positive, funny, complementary. You'll feel better and so will the folks around you, and don't forget to go the extra mile to give a boost to a person who's having a bad day or a hard time. Good relationships at work help you do your job better! For more tips on how a good attitude gives you a head start for success, contact DLR Sioux Falls 605.773.3372.

The Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) is a federal income tax credit that encourages employers to hire individuals in certain targeted groups which consistently experience high rates of unemployment due to a variety of employment barriers. The WOTC is a tool in a diverse toolbox of flexible strategies designed to help people move from welfare to work and gain on-the-job experience. It joins other education and job training initiatives and targeted tax credits that help American workers prepare for good jobs; ease the transition from job to job; and create high performance workplaces.
