Celebrating Value and Talent! Did you know that October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM)? This annual recognition started in 1945 to celebrate the positive impact of people with disabilities in the American workforce.
The theme is "Celebrating Value and Talent", which is carrying the spirit of last year's celebration forward through 2026 in honor of America's 250th birthday.

At Shore, we are so proud of the individuals we serve, like Janie, who is representing ComEd as an Energy Force Ambassador. She attends community events and shares tips on how to be more energy efficient. Janie stated, 'I like my job because I get to talk to people." Thank you ComEd for being an amazing community employment partner!
