Introducing our America 250 commemorative ambulance.
As our nation prepares to celebrate 250 years of independence in 2026, MedEx is honored to unveil a one-of-a-kind ambulance created to recognize this historic milestone.
This custom livery features the American flag draped across the iconic Chicago skyline, symbolizing both our nation’s enduring spirit and the city we’ve proudly served for nearly three decades. Designed exclusively for this ambulance, this artwork is unique to this truck and holds a special place within the MedEx family.
Keep an eye out, and if you spot it around Chicago, we’d love to see your photos. 🇺🇸🚑

Last night, MedEx Ambulance proudly supported the JPMorgan Chase Corporate Challenge — the largest corporate running series in the world — as a projected 18,000 runners filled downtown Chicago. 🏃🚑

Thanks to great weather, strong teamwork, and the professionalism of our crews, the event saw only minor medical issues and was a tremendous success.

“Thank you for your dedication, professionalism, teamwork, and commitment to excellence. I am extremely proud of what this team accomplished yesterday. Great work by everyone involved!”
— Michael Pieroni, Chief Operating Officer, MedEx Ambulance

Route 66 turns 100 in 2026 — and MedEx is proud to celebrate where the road begins: Chicago. 🚑🛣️
Our Route 66-themed ambulance traveled sections of historic Route 66 across Illinois, honoring the legendary roadway that has connected communities for generations. This specialty unit blends the spirit of the Mother Road with the mission we live every day: showing up when it matters most.
Follow along throughout the year as we continue taking this ambulance on the road across Route 66 and beyond.

MedEx Myron (Chief Meteorological Marmot) did NOT see his shadow.
