Tonight was a busy night for the Masonic Fraternity and Slatington Lodge in particular. At the lodge, we held our second annual “Loyal Order of Water Buffalo” degree. This fun event helps raise funds for the Masonic Community Center, and also The Tun Tavern Legacy foundation. Welcome to all of our new Water Buffaloes!

While the Water Buffalo degree was going on at home, Masons from around the district and beyond were strutting their stuff at the Emmaus Halloween Parade. The Worshipful Master and Chaplain were in attendance to represent Slatington Lodge No.440.

On Thursday September 24th Slatington Lodge No.440, along side brothers from several other lodges, celebrated their return home after being displaced from our long time home of over 100 years, back in 2022. It was a fantastic evening with stories of our history, and well wishes for the future. There was a long lost lodge artifact, a 107 year old fiftieth anniversary chalkboard, found in South Carolina returned to the lodge. It has been a long road to get where we are today and we couldn’t be happier to finally have a place to call our own. We look forward to hosting community events in the very near future. We still have some finishing touches to put on the building and grounds, but the majority of the hard work is done. Stay tuned for open house dates and hall availability! Thank you to all who assisted, from the bottom of our hearts!
