Ready to launch a high-demand career in commercial driving? Delgado Community College is accepting interest for its upcoming Class A CDL / Commercial Vehicle Operator (CVO) training cohorts.

Upcoming Class Dates:
-November 9 – December 18, 2026
-January 11 – February 19, 2027
(Dates are tentative and subject to change. Courses run 5–6 weeks.)

What You’ll Learn:
-Intro to Trucking & DOT qualifications
-Hours of Service & logbook management
-Air brakes, combination vehicles & DMV test prep
-Backing & vehicle maneuvers (shifting and driving)
-Pre-trip vehicle inspection procedures

Enrollment Requirements:
-Must be 18 years or older
-Valid driver's license
-Class A DOT learner's permit
-Must pass background check, DOT physical, and drug screen
