Are you dependable, hardworking, and skilled in general maintenance and repairs? We're looking for a motivated Full-Time Maintenance Technician to help maintain our residential properties and provide safe, quality housing for our residents!

🔨 Job Responsibilities Include:

Perform general building maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, heating, appliances, flooring, doors, and more.

Complete maintenance work orders efficiently and accurately.

Prepare vacant apartments for new residents.

Conduct routine property inspections and assist with HUD NSPIRE inspections.

Maintain buildings, grounds, and equipment.

Respond to emergency and after-hours maintenance needs.

Work as part of a team to keep our properties safe, clean, and well-maintained.

Housing & Resident Services Specialist

Are you passionate about helping individuals and families achieve housing stability and independence? The McKean County Housing Authority is looking for a motivated, compassionate, and organized Housing & Resident Services Specialist to join our team!

In this rewarding position, you'll work directly with residents, landlords, and community partners to connect individuals with housing opportunities, supportive services, and resources that make a lasting difference.

🔑 Key Responsibilities:

Provide housing case management and resident support services.

Assist with client intake, program enrollment, and housing referrals.

Connect residents with community resources and supportive services.

Conduct home visits and assist residents in maintaining stable housing.

Collaborate with landlords, community organizations, and housing staff.

Maintain accurate case records and assist with program reporting.

Support resident self-sufficiency and successful housing outcomes.

🎓 Qualifications:

Associate Degree in Human Services, Social Work, or a related field preferred.

OR High School Diploma/GED with 3–5 years of relevant experience.

Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills.

Valid driver's license required.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

INVITATION TO BID

The McKean County Redevelopment Authority will receive bids to undertake a Bradford Township Housing Rehabilitation Project at 348 Interstate Parkway, Bradford, PA until 2:00 p.m. on July 2nd, 2026, at the Redevelopment Authority's office, 415 West Main Street, Smethport, PA 16749, (814) 887-5563, at which time and place all bids will be opened and read aloud.

BID # 2026-004R - This project includes the following Base Bid item: (1) New Roofing, Stair Demolition, New Deck and Stair Construction.

In order to submit a bid, copies of the specifications and documents to submit must be requested by contacting the Redevelopment Authority.

A Bid Guarantee in the amount equal to 10% of the Base Bid is to be included with the contractor’s bid submission. This Bid Guarantee may be in the form of a bond, Cashier’s Check, or a Letter of Credit from a bank. The MCRA will return the Bid Guarantee to unsuccessful bidders upon award of this contract.

Bids should be submitted to MCRA in a sealed envelope with “Redevelopment Bid # 2026-004R” written on the outside of the envelope.

A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at the residence on June 29th at 11:00 AM. It is highly recommended that interested Contractors attend this meeting prior to placing a bid.

The Successful Bidder shall be required to provide a lead base paint training certification, be a registered home improvement contractor with the Attorney General’s Office, and have the required insurance information.

Prevailing Wage Rates must be paid on this job for all bids over $25,000.

The McKean County Redevelopment Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding process. Bids may be held for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the Bid Opening.
