We also thank all Emergency Nurses who strive to provide the best patient care at the hospitals we transport to outside the county. We couldn't do our job without you. Thank you to HCA Virginia Health System Air Care Eagle and EMS for teaching a Pediatric Airway Class this past Thursday! Our providers got to practice on spectacular manikins with some very difficult airways.

Good morning all,

It is with heavy heart that I pass along the passing of Grady Miller. Grady faithfully served Isle of Wight Volunteer Rescue Squad beginning in 1989 and continuing until his death. He served in many roles over the years and most recent as President. Please join me in honoring Grady at a service to be held on Sunday, August 30, 2026 2 p.m. At Littles Funeral Home, followed by a procession to the squad where we will give his final call and host a reception in his honor.

Uniform for officers will be Class A with covered badges, all others are encouraged to wear squad uniforms.
