We had a wonderful evening yesterday at the Traditional Meal. It was an evening full of delicious food, and good fellowship. Seeing everyone share laughs, stories, hear Choctaw hymns, and watch social dancing is a wonderful way to celebrate community and culture.

Yakoke, to Councilman Eddie Bohanan for providing and hosting a fantastic event. Yakoke to the staff and volunteers for help making the event a success!

‼️🦃Tomorrow is the last day to sign up for Thanksgiving food vouchers. All applications received after Saturday will only get the Christmas Voucher‼️🦃

🍗 Holiday meal vouchers are available!

Eligible Choctaw tribal members living within the Choctaw Nation Reservation may apply for Thanksgiving and Christmas food vouchers. Income guidelines apply, and approved applicants will receive one voucher per household.

Thanksgiving and Christmas: October 1–24
Christmas only: Oct. 25–Nov. 21

🎃Don’t forget the Kids Halloween Carnival is Tuesday, October 27th. Doors open at 5:20 p.m., Carnival starts at 5:30 p.m., and costume contest is at 6:30 p.m. 🧙‍♀️
We will have games, cupcake walk, and hot dogs! Join us‼️

Choctaw Flag Day!

We celebrate the importance of the flag and its representation. The flag is more than a symbol, it is a way to show our strong Chahta spirit, culture, and history. From past generations, present, and future, the flag carries important traditions we carry and proudly show.

Choctaw Flag Day was established in 2020 to honor the creation of The Great Seal of the Choctaw Nation on October 16th, 1860.
