Thank you to everyone who attended National Night Out yesterday. Special thanks to Fire District 4, Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office Corrections, and the Public Safety Commission for helping to make it a fun event.

Today at about 5:12pm, Snohomish PD Deputies responded to a rollover collision at the intersection of Pine Ave and Maple Ave. Three vehicles were involved, with apparent minor injuries sustained. This collision is still under investigation, but drugs or alcohol do not appear to be a factor.

Public Service Announcement

The Snohomish Police Department understands that finding a parking spot in town can sometimes be challenging, particularly during special events. However, please be mindful of where you are parking your vehicle and remember that you must park 30 feet from any stop sign and 20 feet from any marked or unmarked crosswalk.

If you are unsure how far that is, remember that the average length of a car is about 15 feet. If you can’t fit a car in between your vehicle and the stop sign/crosswalk, you are too close. Parking too close can create serious visibility issues for vehicles and pedestrians, and you risk receiving a ticket and/or possibly having your vehicle impounded. Our Deputies will not be using a measuring tape to issue parking tickets to those who infringe by a few inches, however people need to be reasonable with their parking. If you are willing to walk a few blocks, you can easily find a legal place to park.

If you see any vehicles that need immediate attention, please don’t hesitate to call the non-emergency line at 425-407-3999.

Today Snohomish PD units responded to a collision at the Snohomish Coffee Company, for a vehicle that collided into the building. Nobody was hurt in the collision. This appears to be an accident and drugs or alcohol do not appear to be a factor.

UPDATE: Deputies were able to utilize Flock cameras to locate the suspect vehicle. The suspected driver was later contacted by Deputies. Charges will be forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office for review.

Can You ID?

The pictured on vehicle is the suspect vehicle in a hit and run collision with injuries that occurred on 4/18 on 2nd Street. The vehicle appears to be a Cadillac, but the victim was unable to get the license plate number. If you know the identity of the vehicle please contact the Snohomish Police Department.
