🎃 Our deputies had a great time this weekend participating in trick-or-treat events throughout Worcester County!

We’re not sure who had more fun — the kids exploring our Armored Rescue Vehicle or our deputies checking out all the great costumes! 👻

With Halloween right around the corner, we encourage everyone to plan ahead, wear reflective clothing or carry a flashlight, use crosswalks, and make sure children are accompanied by a responsible adult while trick-or-treating.

RUNAWAY JUVENILE – PUBLIC ASSISTANCE REQUESTED

The Worcester County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a runaway juvenile and is asking for the public’s assistance in locating him.

Brayden Zalewski, 16 years old, was last seen in Bishopville, Maryland and may be headed into Delaware.

Description:

- 5’5” tall
- Approximately 130 lbs.
- Light-brown hair with gold highlights
- Last seen wearing a seafoam-colored “Pure Lure” T-Shirt
- Wearing blue jeans and white Nike tennis shoes

🚨 Traffic Advisory - Whaleyville Road🚨

Whaleyville Road between Old Ocean City Road and Sheppards Crossing Road is currently closed due to a serious motor vehicle crash.

Maryland State Police are handling the crash investigation.

Motorists are asked to avoid the area and seek an alternate route. Please use caution and allow emergency personnel to work safely.
