We always enjoy engaging with our community. Our elderly community is a priority for us when there is a need for assistance. This is why the cop companions program is such a pleasure to provide to our community!

Please stay off of the roads; what has been cleared today will turn icy tonight. Keep yourself and our first responders safe by staying home in these conditions.

This Christmas Season the SHPD was honored to adopt a very special family in our community. Chief Smith spent his day shopping his heart away for this family, when he got back from his shopping adventure Cpl. Johnson along with Chief Smith wrapped all of the gifts. Officer Lancaster delivered the gifts to the family; they were overjoyed with the gifts. From all of us here at SHPD, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
