Snyder Public Library This is the official page of the Snyder Public Library. The goal of the library is to be the information hub of the community.

Friends of the Snyder Public Library are proud to provide volunteers and funding to keep the library open. Snyder Public Library is owned by the City of Snyder and operated by volunteer members of Friends of the Snyder Public Library (FSPL). The library contains over 7000 books, mainly obtained through donations. There are many up-to-date books on the shelves with more added weekly. Currently there are two computers available to the public with free internet access. Volunteers are in the process of cataloging the contents of the library on the computer, along with keeping new arrivals carded and shelved. FSPL provides all funding for internet service, purchase of books and supplies. The city provides the building and pays utilities.

Only 78 more days until ! 🎃🎃🎃

Every kid in Whispering Pines knows there’s only one place in town to get those old plastic pumpkin pails: the general store on Main Street.

Nobody knows where they come from.

Not even old Mr. Jenkins, who runs the store.

Every October, a new stack simply appears among the Halloween decorations. And every few years, one of them gets hungry.

No one knows which one it will be.

It always happens the same way. The pail fills with candy, its grin grows a little wider…and suddenly, those plastic teeth don’t look so plastic anymore.

This year, it chose the witch.

She tried dropping it.

She tried dumping out the candy.

She even tried running.

But once a pumpkin pail wakes up on Halloween night, there’s only one problem…

Candy isn’t what it’s hungry for anymore. 🎃
