🎃 A Spooktacular Friday in Solomon! 👻

From little superheroes and princesses to firefighters and friendly monsters, Solomon was full of Halloween spirit on Friday!

We kicked off the fun with a special visit from our local Solomon Community Preschool trick-or-treaters, who stopped by City Hall to show off their costumes and collect some treats! 🍬

The festivities continued Friday evening with the Solomon Recreation Commission’s Trunk or Treat, bringing families together for a fun night of costumes, candy, and community!

A big THANK YOU to the Solomon Recreation Commission, everyone who participated, and all those who helped make Halloween special for our local kids!

📸 Enjoy a few snapshots from Friday’s festivities!

🍂🧡 Solomon, THIS is community!

What an incredible evening at Solomon City Park! From kids playing on the merry-go-round to families enjoying walking tacos, s’mores, Halloween treats, and prizes — the Solomon Fall Bash was full of smiles and small-town spirit!

❤️ More than 50 families joined the fun, while 15+ resource booths connected residents with valuable services, information, and support!

👏 A HUGE thank-you to the The HOPE Center and OCCK Inc. for coordinating this wonderful event, and to Almost Home Realty KS and the Solomon Community Fund for their generous sponsorships!

Special thanks to our Solomon firefighters, Alcott staff, participating organizations, and volunteers for helping make the evening possible.

And to everyone who came out — thank you for filling our park with laughter, connection, and community pride!

🔥 Fire safety starts with education — and some hands-on fun!

A big thank you to our Solomon volunteer firefighters and first responders for spending time with Solomon Schools USD 393 students and giving them an up-close look at fire safety, equipment and the important work our volunteers do to keep our community safe.

We’re grateful for the people who volunteer their time to serve Solomon — and who take the time to teach the next generation, too! ❤️🚒
