As a continuing reminder, if you would like to register before receiving your newsletter in the mail, look for an SSC friend or family member that can ease your transition into online registration!

The Western Reserve Area Agency on Aging 2026 Senior Wellness Expo was held on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Solon Senior Center members and guests had a full and fun filled schedule of events.

9:00 - 11:00 AM Information Booth
11:15 - 11:45 AM Act II Singers
11:45 AM - 1:00 PM Chili Cook-Off

There were complimentary health screenings Information booths. Fun giveaways. Flu shots (Covered by most insurances, otherwise there will be a fee) Chili cook-off with a chance to sample them all for $5! (with salad, bread, dessert & beverage) Door prizes were held at regular intervals.

Miles Road between Brainard Road and Naiman Parkway is CLOSED to thru traffic, but open to local businesses starting Wednesday, September 23, 2026 to Friday, October 9, 2026.

If needing access to Naiman Parkway you must enter from the west (Richmond Road).

Those needing to travel east of Naiman Parkway to visit the Miles Farmer’s Market, Shoppes of North Solon or get to Harper Road must detour Richmond Road to Brainard Road and back onto Miles Road.
