🚨 READY NOTIFY | Emergency Alerts

Ready Notify is Cuyahoga County's emergency notification system, used to alert residents about urgent situations that may affect their safety.
Receive notifications by phone, text and/or email about:
• Severe weather and tornado warnings
• Evacuations and emergency situations
• Missing persons
• Other urgent public safety notices

Alerts can be targeted to your address, and you can register up to FOUR different addresses, including your home, workplace or a family member's home.

Please note that we are implementing a fireworks traffic plan to ease congestion during Saturday's show (10/10) at Solon Community Park. See the attached map. There will be many restrictions. It is very similar to our typical annual fireworks traffic plans. Please respect the fenced off areas.
The show is expected to start no later than 8 pm. The first traffic restrictions will start at about 7:45 pm. If you aren't going to the show, it would be best to avoid the area between 7:45 pm - 10 pm. Sorry for the inconvenience. We should all be able to catch the last few innings of the ballgame afterwards!

This Saturday 10/10, there will be active construction work on Miles Road related to the water line improvement project. This has been approved as a special circumstance in order to help the project finish in a more timely manner. Thank you for your patience and understanding to this unique situation.

FIREWORKS ARE BACK!

The City of Solon’s rescheduled fireworks display is happening THIS SATURDAY, October 10 at Solon Community Park!

Originally planned for July, we’re excited to finally light up the sky over Community Park!

🚨 Siren Test today at noon. 🚨
Tests will take place on the first Saturday of each month at 12:00 PM (noon). These tests are a routine way to ensure the system is working correctly and to identify any problems that require attention. If you hear the sirens at that time, there is no emergency, and no action is needed.

Information about Outdoor Warning Sirens
Outdoor warning sirens are used to alert people who are outside to take immediate action during emergencies. In Solon, they are typically activated for:
Tornado warnings issued by the National Weather Service or Severe Weather that may affect the Solon area.
Other emergencies where quick outdoor notification is necessary

These sirens are not designed to be heard indoors. For that reason, it's essential to have alternative methods for receiving alerts.

Additional Ways to Get Alerts
There are many reliable options to keep you informed, including:

Weather apps that provide severe weather notifications

Using these tools, along with our outdoor warning sirens, is the best way to stay aware and prepared.
