Gregg Mele believes voters deserve a clear accounting of his opponent’s past relationship with Omar Abdel-Rahman, the “Blind Sheikh.”

Gregg’s opponent testified as a defense witness at Abdel-Rahman’s 1995 terrorism trial. Reporting based on the trial record describes him as having met Abdel-Rahman in 1991, attended his speeches, traveled with him to a conference in Detroit, translated for him, and stayed in the same hotel room with him during that trip. Gregg’s opponent has also acknowledged hearing Abdel-Rahman speak about violent themes and has said he condemns those views.

The question Gregg is raising is straightforward: what was the full nature of that relationship, and why did the contact continue after hearing that rhetoric?

Yes!!!!

Gregg Mele says healthcare should put patients first: lower costs and protect choice. Gregg’s opponent says he will fight for Medicare for All, which he describes as universal, single-payer healthcare. That is a direct contrast voters can weigh on one of the most important issues facing families today. Families will lose healthcare freedoms and this "free" healthcare will cost much, much more in the end.
