A little creativity and a lot of fall fun at Highlands Square! We had a wonderful time decoupaging pumpkins with our Senior Friends group, with some sharing their skills and others trying something new. The best part was the laughter, fellowship, and memories made along the way!

Please join us in welcoming Kim Ch*****ne as the new Executive Director of Highlands Square! Kim brings 15 years of Executive Director experience, 26 years in senior care, and a true passion for creating meaningful experiences for residents, families, and team members.

Kim’s journey has taken her from Colorado to Florida and Kentucky, and she says faith and a little bit of fate brought her to Highlands Square. With experience in nearly every area of assisted living, a passion for learning, a love of cooking and home projects, and a very full household of family and furry friends, Kim is already making her mark on our community.

We are so excited to have Kim as part of the Navion family and look forward to all the amazing things ahead at Highlands Square. Please help us give her a warm welcome!

Sandy, Becky, Rachel and Tonine showed up in purple for the 2026 Lake Cumberland Walk to End Alzheimer's. It was a proud day of support for the The Alzheimer's Association - Greater Kentucky and Southern Indiana Chapter and an important cause.

Guthrie's Butcher Shop - Somerset sponsored our Red Carpet Dinner, and we appreciated the generosity. Brandon went the extra mile preparing a delicious steak dinner for our residents!

Our residents and families enjoyed a Red Carpet Event with a steak dinner, made possible by the steaks generously donated by Guthrie's Butcher Shop. Our assistant chef, Brandon, had this dinner on his heart and took the initiative to secure the donation himself. Thank you to every resident and family who allows us to be a small part of their next chapter!

Residents danced the afternoon away at our 50s sock hop, and Elvis even made an appearance. It was a fun blast from the past for everyone!

Residents took a trip back to the 70s with UV marker art under blacklights, plus Bubble Yum, Pop Rocks, and disco music. It was a colorful and nostalgic afternoon for everyone!
