The learning opportunities for the students at Bristol Aggie just keep expanding!

How cool is this? ⬇️

Thank you 1420 WBSM for covering and sharing this story!

Bristol Aggie students are getting some seriously cool new tools for science class. 🧬 A $5,853 grant from the Toshiba America Foundation will let AP Biology students in Dighton conduct hands-on DNA analysis using equipment and techniques found in modern biotechnology labs. The goal is to connect what students learn in class with real-world careers in research, medicine and agriculture. What kind of science experiment would you have loved to try in high school?

The facade at New Bedford Superior Court is shaping up nicely! Thank you to CPA funding, hard work by the sub contractors and collaboration with the county & the facilities team to get this (very much needed) project complete! The new facade (and structures above that it supports) will be structurally sound, safe, ADA compliant and a beautiful entryway to the courthouse!

Thank you had to Attleboro Democratic city committee for inviting me to your annual summer cookout, and giving elected officials/ candidates a chance to speak about our roles in government-from town, city, region, county, and statewide!. We are better together. 😊

Today started off with our annual Legislative Breakfast at Bristol Aggie.

It was an incredible turnout, as we were honored to be joined by dozens of our incredible local current and past state legislatures to discuss topics not only pertaining to our school, but for our surrounding communities.

It’s always a wonderful day when we get to discuss all of the incredible works happening on campus and ways to expand the educational and other resource opportunities for Bristol County and beyond.

Thank you so much to Plymouth County for hosting the “all county” commissioners meeting for the commonwealth county government yesterday. It was a fantastic and motivating meeting-full of bright ideas, thinking ahead and a necessary reminder of the importance of collaboration within the Commonwealth to continue with strong county government. We can accomplish much more when we come together and share ideas!

It was also a wonderful opportunity to experience lunch hosted by the culinary department at Plymouth South high school, they do an incredible job and everything was delicious!

Looking forward to our next meeting together, to be hosted by Dukes County!
