Happy MIH Week! Today we would like to spotlight Dyllan Talpey, SmartCare Paramedic.
Dyllan has been with Cataldo Ambulance Service for a year and a half and has worked in emergency medical services for 16 years. His favorite thing about his job is talking with his patients because you can really get to know somebody while sitting in their house for an hour or two, and everybody has an interesting story.
Dyllan is most proud of being able to help elderly patients and those with mobility issues, treating them in their own homes. The elderly, especially those with any stage of dementia, fare so much better in a familiar environment and it helps relieve families’ anxieties.
Some fun facts about Dyllan are that he is left-handed, he enjoys watching others do karaoke, he likes playing board games and video games, and he enjoys being with family. Additionally, he and his partner Anthony recently purchased their first home in New Hampshire.
