*** PG&E Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) — Community Update 10/15/26 at 9:30 a.m.

PG&E has de-energized all intended impacted zones and reported the work complete this morning to the Tuolumne County Sheriff's Office of Emergency Services (OES). There is no reported change to the anticipated duration of the shutoff at this time. PG&E Customer Resource Centers will continue to operate on their posted schedules.

Tuolumne County Sheriff's Office Deputies patrolled the affected areas throughout the night and will continue patrols throughout the day to support community safety and security during the outage.

Due to active Red Flag Warnings and the ongoing PSPS, local fire agencies have coordinated with Cal OES to pre-position five additional fire engines and support personnel from Tuolumne Rancheria Fire Department, Mi-Wuk Sugar Pine Fire Department, Tuolumne County Fire, and Twain Harte Fire District across Tuolumne County. This added staffing ensures a fast, proactive emergency response while fire danger remains elevated.

The Sheriff's Office thanks our partner agencies for their continued work to keep our communities safe. Residents are encouraged to monitor official channels for further updates and to report emergencies by calling 911.
