It’s hard to believe, but we’re heading into the final week of Summer Camp 2026.
There’s sometimes a misconception that when the last camper heads home on the final Friday, the work of summer camp ends too. In reality, a program of this size is something that is always in motion — and planning for 2027 has already begun.
Building the kind of camp our families have come to expect takes months of hiring and interviews, staff training and scheduling, field trip planning and transportation, performers and special events, purchasing equipment and supplies, facility maintenance, registrations and software, camper groupings, parent communication, health and safety planning, accommodations, budgeting, meals, schedules, backup plans…and about a thousand little details that nobody ever sees.
But all of that planning only works if you have the right people to bring it to life.
This year we had the largest camp staff we’ve ever had, matching the continued growth of our program, and we could not be prouder of this group. They brought the energy, patience, creativity, responsibility and fun that turned all of those plans on paper into nine weeks of memories for our campers.
To our staff: thank you. To our families and community: thank you for continuing to support us, trust us with your kids, and push us to keep making this program better.
We still have one great week left — but we’re already excited about what comes next.
We hope to see all of you again in 2027. 💙
