Happy Halloween, South Kingstown👻!! Another Coffee with the Councilman in the books 🎃☕️.

A huge thank-you to the lovely, amazing staff at Old Mountain Lanes Coffee Shop, including Shannon #1, #2, and #3, for taking such good care of us! ☕️🎳❤️

Our Halloween Coffee with the Councilman had me feeling a little spooky and a lot grateful. Childhood breakfasts, birthday parties, and those little cereal boxes! Sitting here today as your councilman brought back so many memories. Thank you to Sharon and Bob for stopping by 🍁🇺🇸🎃

Through 19 coffee gatherings, countless community events, and over 100 meetings, I’ve gained an even deeper appreciation for our town and the people who call it home. I love South Kingstown, and I have renewed energy to keep working together toward our future.

As I approach the end of my first term, thank you for trusting me to serve the community I born and raised in. We live in one of the best places on the planet. I’m gonna try to be the best version of myself so I can do my best to represent the people I love. Thank you for sharing your ideas, asking questions, and pulling up a chair. I’ll keep listening and fighting the good fight 🌊☘️⚓️

🗳️ Vote on Tuesday, November 3, or vote early at South Kingstown Town Hall! I’d be grateful for your vote for Town Council.

Support our local small businesses, have a safe and happy Halloween, and cheers to you, South Kingstown! ☕️🎃🇺🇸

Love ya, SK. Slainte 🫡

💙 Proud to support the athletic teams and student clubs at South Kingstown High School!

🤖 I was happy to be a Premier Sponsor of the South Kingstown High School Robotics Foundation’s golf tournament at Laurel Lane Country Club, right here in South Kingstown!

I love supporting opportunities for our kids to try something new and discover what excites them. An interest in robotics or engineering can start young, with a chance to build something, ask questions, and figure out how it works.

Programs like this give students the chance to put their ideas to the test, work together, and keep trying when something doesn’t go as planned. I’m happy to do my part to support that.

Thank you to the coaches, mentors, families, and volunteers who make these opportunities possible!

Wishing SKHS Robotics an amazing season and the best of luck as they work toward the FIRST Championship in Houston! We’re cheering you on. Go Full Stop! 🤖💙

What a beautiful morning to celebrate the University of Rhode Island! 🐏💙

Yesterday, I was glad to attend the grand opening of URI’s new state-of-the-art outdoor track and field facility here in South Kingstown.

I joined President Marc Parlange, Senator Sue Sosnowski, Representative Kathy Fogarty, Senator Alana DiMario and Representative Carol Hagan McEntee, along with URI’s outstanding track and field and cross-country student-athletes, coaches and supporters.

Congratulations to men’s head coach Trent Baltzell, women’s head coach Laurie Feit-Melnick and all the student-athletes who will train, compete and make memories here. Your hard work gives Rhode Island plenty to cheer for! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️👏

This new facility is an investment in our students and a resource for the broader Rhode Island community. As a South Kingstown councilman, I’m proud to have our state’s flagship university right here in our town and to celebrate the opportunities it brings to our community.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this possible. Looking forward to cheering on the Rams at their new home!

Go Rhody! 🐏💙

Folks, I’m running for re-election to the South Kingstown Town Council, and I’m humbly asking for your vote. I love being your Councilman 🤙🌊🗳️

Although this year’s Council race is uncontested, I don’t take your support for granted. I love this town. I grew up here, and getting to serve the best town in America that raised me is something I’m grateful for every day.

I want people who grew up here to have a shot at staying. I want our older neighbors to be able to afford their homes. And I want our local businesses, schools, and community spaces to keep thriving. 👍

There’s plenty of work ahead. That includes creating more year-round housing, working toward a homestead exemption for full-time residents, protecting our water supply and holding Veolia accountable. It also means seeing our new high school through on time and within budget, while supporting the students and educators who will fill it.

Thank you to the League of Women Voters - South County for putting together this year’s voter guide. My answers are below, and I hope you’ll take a look.

Early voting is already here! You can vote at South Kingstown Town Hall, 180 High Street in Wakefield, on weekdays through November 2. Early voting ends at 4 p.m. that day. Election Day is November 3.

Holy cow, onto term #2. I feel really lucky and grateful.

Thank you for the chance to serve our town. Keep reaching out and telling me what matters to you. I’m listening. I’m going to keep trying and fighting for you everyday 🇺🇸💙🫶

I took a little field trip to Narragansett tonight! 🚗🌊

I spoke before the Narragansett Town Council in support of Boon Street Market and what it brings to our South County community. As a local Councilman, there are many ways to support small businesses and tonight using my voice personally it was one of them.

BSM brought new energy to Boon Street, created jobs for Narragansett and South Kingstown residents, took part in countless charitable acts for the most needy in our community, and built a gathering place for people of all ages. These are all important things that should be saluted and supported 🍽️🎶

Being a good neighbor matters, too. I’ve seen their team listen to neighborhood concerns and make meaningful changes to address parking and public safety. That continued commitment is part of being a successful local business.

We need places where people can come together, and I’m glad to stand up for one that’s become a gem of Narragansett. Support local small businesses. Support Boon Street Market 🤝

Remembering those who answered the call. 👨‍🚒🚒🇺🇸

Last Saturday, my fellow Town Council members and I joined the Union Fire District of South Kingstown, Rhode Island and Kingston Fire District at Firefighter’s Memorial Square for the annual Firefighter Memorial Ceremony, “In Memory of Our Fallen Brothers.”

We remembered William E. Gray, Byron H. Love and Allan P. LePage, and honored the service and sacrifice of the firefighters who came before us.

Thank you to Chief Steve Pinch, Chief Tom Reed, Rev. Wallace Hazard, Narragansett Police and everyone who helped make the ceremony possible. Thank you to Karen Pinch for the photos.

Being part of the Snug Harbor Volunteer Fire Company has meant a great deal to me. I’m grateful for the people I’ve served alongside in “the hahbah” and across our town, and for the firefighters and families who give so much to keep our community safe. South Kingstown is safer because of UFD. If you’ve ever thought about volunteering, reach out to your local fire station.

Last weekend, I also stopped by Peace Dale Congregational Church for Pumpkin Palooza and did some pumpkin painting! There’s still time to buy a pumpkin through the church’s Pumpkins with a Purpose fundraiser and support the wonderful work of Welcome House of South County. Stop by, pick one out, and help support our neighbors. 🎃

If you make it to the end of the carousel, you may even spot a photo of a much younger me in the fire department!

Tonight, I’m enjoying a quiet night at home with the pellet stove on. Hope everyone is having a good and safe weekend! Also, if you wanna sign, message me! Dust off those lawn signs from the garage and pop them out for them next month. Slainte 🤙🌊🇺🇸
