Hello All,

Our supply of women’s underwear is running low, and we need your help to restock our shelves! We are currently accepting donations of new women’s underwear in all sizes.

Every donation makes a difference and helps us continue supporting members of our community with essential needs.

Community Clothing Swap

Saturday, November 14 | 1–3 PM
Beyond Yoga

Give what you can. Take what you need. Connect with your community.

Join us for an afternoon clothing swap at Beyond Yoga. Bring gently used clothing you’re ready to pass along and browse what others have brought. You’re welcome to participate whether you bring one item, a whole bag, or nothing at all.

There’s no cost to participate, and there’s no need to trade item-for-item. Take what feels useful to you and leave what might be useful to someone else.

Please bring:
Clean, gently used clothing in good condition.

Any remaining clothing will be donated to a local organization following the event.

Come anytime between 1–3 PM. No registration required.

Thank you so much to the Lights On Edgewood for providing this experience for community! Lights on Edgewood will have a donation bin for South Milwaukee Human Concerns. We appreciate their generous spirit as well as all the folks that donate items.

About 35 million Halloween costumes are thrown out each year.

About 40% of those costumes are only worn once.

About 83% are made out of polyester or other synthetic fibers.

All of this adds up not only for the Earth but your wallet too.

This is a great opportunity to swap with other folks for this Halloween or consider coordinating your own swap with other families.

Check out this free event at the South Milwaukee McDonald's. They have a lot of great family friendly activities for folks to take part in. Thanks to our local McDonald's for coordinating this event and offering it to our community.
