Today, we honor the brave men and women who answer the call, no matter the time, weather, or circumstances. Behind every uniform is someone who puts their own life on hold to be there for someone else during their most difficult moments.

At Southampton Volunteer Ambulance, we are incredibly proud of our dedicated volunteers and members who give their time, sacrifice sleep, miss family moments, and show up when our community needs them most. Being a first responder is more than answering alarms. It’s about compassion, dedication, teamwork, and having the heart to help others. ❤️

We also want to recognize our fellow first responders in fire, law enforcement, EMS, and dispatch. Thank you for standing beside us, keeping our scenes safe, and working together to protect the community we all call home.

To our community, thank you for your continued love, trust, and support. It is truly an honor to serve you.

Not all heroes wear capes. Some wear turnout gear, badges, and EMS uniforms. 🚑❤️

From all of us at Southampton Volunteer Ambulance, Happy National First Responders Day! Stay safe, and thank you for all that you do! 🇺🇸

🇺🇸 September 11, 2001 — We Will Never Forget.

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11th and honor the extraordinary bravery of the first responders who ran toward danger when others were running to safety.

As members of EMS, we carry tremendous respect for the EMTs, paramedics, firefighters, police officers, dispatchers, and countless others who answered the call that day. Many made the ultimate sacrifice, and many more continued to suffer from the effects of their service in the years that followed.

Their courage, selflessness, and dedication to helping others represent the very heart of what it means to be a first responder.

Today and every day, we remember the fallen, honor the survivors, and stand beside the families and fellow first responders whose lives were forever changed.

343 firefighters. 8 EMS providers. Thousands of innocent lives. One promise: We will never forget. 🇺🇸

It was a busy and rewarding Fourth of July week for the members of Southampton Volunteer Ambulance!

Our week kicked off on Thursday, July 2, with a standby for the fireworks at North Sea Carnival, helping ensure everyone could safely enjoy the celebration. On Independence Day, our crews proudly participated in the July 4th Southampton Village parade before returning to duty to provide EMS coverage during the evening fireworks festivities.

In between these community events, our dedicated volunteers and staff continued responding to daily emergency calls throughout our district, always ready to answer when our neighbors needed us most.

Thank you to all of our members for their commitment, professionalism, and countless hours of service during one of the busiest weeks of the summer. We are honored to serve our community every day—on holidays and beyond.

Stay safe, and thank you to everyone who supports Southampton Volunteer Ambulance! 🇺🇸🚑

This Sunday, Southampton Volunteer Ambulance had the pleasure of providing an AED awareness and training session for the residents of Southampton Shores. The community recently received two donated Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) and reached out to our agency to learn when and how these life-saving devices should be used in an emergency.

The class was instructed by Department Chief Corey Hanning-Fromm and District Chief Ian King, who reviewed the recognition of sudden cardiac arrest, proper AED operation, and the importance of early intervention. We appreciate the opportunity to work with the Southampton Shores community and help increase public preparedness and confidence in responding to medical emergencies.

Thank you to Southampton Shores for their commitment to community safety and for inviting us to be a part of this important initiative.

Yesterday, Southampton Volunteer Ambulance responded to a serious motor vehicle accident requiring a coordinated effort from multiple agencies.

We would like to thank the members of Southampton Fire Department, Southampton Fire Department for their outstanding work during the extrication, as well as all assisting agencies that supported patient care and scene operations. The teamwork, professionalism, and dedication displayed by everyone on scene helped ensure the best possible care for those involved.

As we continue through U.S. Open week, traffic throughout the area is significantly heavier than normal. We ask all residents and visitors to remain alert for emergency vehicles, move over when safe to do so, and exercise patience while traveling. Delays and congestion are affecting everyone, including first responders working to reach those in need.

Your awareness and cooperation help us, and all emergency services, continue providing safe and effective service to our community.

Thank you for your continued support.
