🚨We are no longer accepting applications for these 3 kittens. We have been overwhelmed with applications and will start to review them next week 🚨❤️🐾

We are accepting applications for the 3 male 6 week old orange kittens . If interested please fill out the application or call Southbury Animal Control for information. These boys will be ready to go the middle of October in which then they will be checked over by a vet , tested for FELV/FIV , microchipped , and had their first FVRCP.

As a reminder we go through every application and check references and vets . This isn’t first come first serve . We choose who we believe will be the best fit for each animal .

Final Update: Lizzie missing from Southbury was just found by one of our volunteers. Unfortunately she did not make it. We are all very sad to have to share this update. We were hoping to have Lizzie safe soon and instead have to share this news. Thank you to all who called in sightings. Thank you to CTDGRV Jess and Southbury ACO Kristen for your tremendous of effort and time in an attempt to bring Lizzie home safely . We are all saddened by this news.

UPDATE from Southbury ACO and CTDGRV. Please if you see this dog do not call out or try to get her. She is scared and in Survival Mode/ Flight Mode which she will sprint from everything in total fear. This can push her out of a known area and put her into danger and where we need to find her again. We need for the area to be kept quiet so we can set up a trap. PLEASE EVERYONE NEEDS TO STOP CHASING AND TRYING TO GET HER TO COME TO YOU. THIS WILL NOT WORK. Call the numbers below with the exact location, direction of travel and her behavior. This will be very helpful.

Missing in Southbury. She is a very skittish girl and will run out of fear from anyone who calls out to her, follows her, or chases her. For the safety of the dog we ask everyone to call the number on the flyer with the exact sighting with street number, closest cross street, or landmark so we can get out to the area quickly. Also provide direction of travel. Do not post the sighting, call so we can provide the most immediate response and keep the area quiet in order to set up for capture. Please check your cameras and under decks and other hiding places if you live near this area. Please share.
