WOW, SPANAWAY! YOU SHOWED UP! 🎃💚💛

What an incredible night for our Jaguars! From the creative trunks and amazing costumes to all the smiling faces, tonight’s Trunk or Treat was one for the books!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who decorated a trunk, donated candy, volunteered, helped behind the scenes, or simply brought their families out to enjoy the fun. Events like this wouldn’t be possible without our amazing Spanaway community!

📸 NOW WE WANT TO SEE YOUR PICTURES!

We were so busy enjoying the night that we know we missed some great moments! Share your favorite photos in the comments. We want to see those costumes, decorated trunks, and all the fun you captured!

Thank you for making tonight such a success!

🍿 A MESSAGE FROM POPCORN PAPA! 🍿

Jaguar fam! We’ve got some good news for your little popcorn lovers!

Since we missed our last popcorn day (technical difficulties), EVERY student at Spanaway Elementary is getting a complimentary bag of popcorn from us, the PTSA, tomorrow, Friday, October 23! And yes, teachers, we would never forget popcorn for you too! 💚💛

And if you already purchased popcorn for your child’s classroom, don’t worry! Your purchase will automatically roll over to next month’s popcorn day.

Want to order popcorn for next month? You can place your order through our official PTSA Givebacks store:
https://spanawayelemptsa.givebacks.com/shop

🎃 And don’t forget to stop by Popcorn Papa’s trunk at Trunk-or-Treat tomorrow evening for some candy corn! 😉

Between popcorn during the school day and Trunk-or-Treat tomorrow evening, Friday is looking pretty good! 🎃🐆

📚 The Book Fair is coming to Spanaway Elementary!

Clear some space on those bookshelves, Jaguars! Our Scholastic Book Fair is almost here, and the kids are about to come home with a whole new reading list. (And possibly a few books about dinosaurs. Again.)

📍 Where: School Library

📅 When:

* October 26 & 28 | 12:00–3:30 PM
* October 27 | 12:00–7:00 PM 🌙 LATE NIGHT!
* October 29 | 12:00–3:00 PM

💳 Skip the cash with Scholastic eWallet!

Set up an eWallet before the fair so your student can shop independently. Family and friends can contribute, too! Any unused funds stay in your Scholastic account for future fairs.

🔗 Set up your eWallet and explore the Book Fair here:
https://www.scholastic.com/bf/spanawayelementaryschool

Every book purchased helps support our school while encouraging our Jaguars to discover their next favorite read!

Happy reading, Jaguars! 🐾

Hey Jaguar fam! 💚🐆

We’ve got nearly 400 kids at Spanaway Elementary and 37 PTSA members making some pretty fun things happen!

Now imagine what we could do with 100 families involved. Or 200! 👀

These are the kinds of memories we’re working together to create:

🎃 Trunk-or-Treat THIS Friday!
🍿 Monthly Popcorn Days with Popcorn Papa
🎲 Family Bingo Nights 🦃 Food drives
🚌 Field Trips & Student Activities

We’d love for more of you to be part of it! When our students see their loved ones involved at the school it makes them so happy and proud! 🥰

Our next goal is 58 members by October 31, and we’re only 21 away!

🍿 Hit our goal and every Jaguar gets a schoolwide popcorn day! (Psst… you can volunteer to be the hero popcorn delivery person with Popcorn Papa too! Definitely a fave around the school!)

🎟️ Plus, one lucky member wins a 3-month YMCA family membership!

And there’s something in it for you, too! Membership is just $15 individually or $20 for two, with access to statewide and nationwide PTA discounts, perks, and special offers.

And while memberships help fund these experiences, volunteers are what bring them to life! Even helping at one event or sharing a little of your time before, during, and after makes a difference.

Our kids get one elementary school experience. Let’s make it a good one. 💚💛

Parent-teacher conferences are coming up next week! Have you scheduled yours yet? If not, here’s your friendly reminder before the week gets away from us. Log in to ParentVUE to signup! 💚

And speaking of next week… the Book Fair is coming too!

Here’s a little something fun from your PTSA:

📚 Join the Spanaway Elementary PTSA today for just $15 and you’ll be entered to win $20 in Book Fair Bucks for your Jaguar to spend next week during conferences!

That’s right. A $15 membership could turn into a $20 shopping spree for your little bookworm. Not a bad deal! 😂

And remember, joining the PTSA doesn’t mean signing up for meetings or volunteering. Your membership alone helps support the activities and experiences our Jaguars enjoy throughout the year.

💚 Today’s the last day to enter!

Good luck, Jaguar fam! We hope your little readers find something wonderful at the Book Fair! 💚💛

It’s a busy one at Spanaway Elementary, and Halloween excitement is officially taking over!

https://spanawayelemptsa.givebacks.com/shop

🎃 FRIDAY 10/23: Our 6th Annual Trunk-or-Treat is here! Join us from 6–7 PM for decorated trunks, candy, and Halloween fun! There’s still time to sign up and join the fun:
