Sparta Township Fire Department

That’s a wrap on our Annual Open House! 🚒

A big thank you to our Sparta Fire Department members and Ladies Auxiliary for volunteering their time and helping make today possible. And thank you to everyone in the Sparta Township community who stopped by, met our members, and spent part of the day with us.

We’d also like to thank the Sparta Ambulance Squad and Sparta Police Department joining us and giving the community an opportunity to meet the different first responders who work together throughout our town.

We hope everyone enjoyed the day and had a chance to learn more about fire safety and what we do here at the Sparta Fire Department.

Today, members of the Sparta Fire Department participated in the 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb at MetLife Stadium, organized by the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation.

Alongside Andover Township Fire Department, and Fredon Fire Company, our members climbed together in honor and remembrance of the firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001.

We climb for those who never made it home. We remember their courage, their sacrifice, and their legacy. 🇺🇸🚒

Never Forget.

🔥 Extreme heat can be just as dangerous as any emergency. A Heat Advisory remains in effect through Friday evening with heat index values up to 102°F. Stay hydrated, limit outdoor activity during peak heat, check on vulnerable neighbors, never leave children or pets in vehicles, and know the signs of heat-related illness.
Beat the heat. Stay hydrated. Look out for each other.
