Clay County Republicans

Are you sick of the political flyers filling up your mailbox? Megan Jones has an easy solution for you - VOTE!

Early voting is going on right now. In Clay County, here is how you can vote early (to reduce the amount of political mail you receive, among other things)

1️⃣ Go to the Clay County Auditor's office, located in the Clay County Administration building.

2️⃣ Cast your vote for Zach Lahn for Governor, Ashley Hinson, McGowan for Iowa, Bird for Iowa, the Clay County Supervisors, LeAnn Black, Sheila Weeks, Lynn Evans or Dave Rowley and Megan Jones or John Wills.

✅️ Submit your ballot!

🗳️ Voted!

(Hot take: if you vote early, your calls and mailers should start to dwindle! They’re all in a cash crunch, so if your vote is cast, they’re not going to purposefully spend money to sway you anymore!)

5 minutes and 36 seconds from getting out of my vehicle, completing my ballot and getting back to to my car! Get out and VOTE!

Hate getting all those calls and text surveying your vote? Get out and VOTE!

We never know what tomorrow will bring, don't risk not getting your VOTE banked! Get out and VOTE!

Just learning about this tragic event. Our prayers are with Rob and the Sand family as they mourn the loss of their loved one.

What a great event! Thank you Zach Lahn for Governor for coming to Clay County.

Your To-Do list for today:

✅️ Attend Zach Lahn for Governor's rally at the Clay County Events Center.
✅️ Go to the Clay County Administrator and vote.

Remember, when you go to vote - turn over your ballot and vote YES on Amendment 1.

What does it do?

It requires a supermajority (two-thirds) vote in the Legislature in order to raise your taxes. Currently, the law is that taxes can be raised on all Iowans with a simple majority (50% + 1).

A YES vote will protect your hard-earned money, and allow you -- not the government -- to decide where those dollars are spent.

🇺🇲 Don't forget: Early voting has begun! If there is a chance you will not be available on November 3 to cast your vote in person, go now to the Clay County Auditor's office (located in the County Administration building) to make your voice heard in this upcoming election and in Iowa's future.

🚨IOWANS — Do you want to make it harder for politicians to raise taxes?

Vote ✅YES on Amendment 1. It will require a two-thirds vote of the legislature to raise taxes.
