🇺🇸 CHESNEE, LET’S GIVE THEM THE WELCOME HOME THEY DESERVED! 🇺🇸

On Tuesday, November 10, the Rolling Welcome Home Honor Ride, es**rting The Wall That Heals, is anticipated to reach City of Chesnee - Government at 12:15pm after leaving High Voltage Harley-Davidson.

Please come out early and line the route! Bring your family and friends, make signs, wave your American flags, and let these veterans see an entire community standing together to honor their service and sacrifice.

For many Vietnam veterans, the welcome home they deserved decades ago never came. On November 10, we have an opportunity to help give it to them now.

Let every flag, every sign, every wave, and every cheer say:

Welcome Home. We remember. We honor you. We are grateful.

🇺🇸 HONOR YOUR VIETNAM VETERAN THROUGH VVMF’S IN MEMORY PROGRAM

Did your Vietnam veteran come home, but later pass away?

The Rutherford County Veteran Services Office located in the old Bi-Lo, Rutherford County Government, North Carolina building, will be available
📌 Friday, October 9, from 9 a.m.–4 p.m. to help families complete an In Memory application.

The program honors Vietnam veterans whose names are not on The Wall, but whose service and sacrifice should never be forgotten.

❤️ A special In Memory remembrance will also be held
📌Saturday, November 14 at 4 p.m. during The Wall That Heals.

🇺🇸 THANKFUL THURSDAY 🇺🇸

As we get closer to welcoming The Wall That Heals to Rutherford County, we continue to be reminded just how blessed we are by the people and businesses who have stepped alongside us to help Bring Healing Home.

This week, we are especially thankful for Shelley and the talented team at Artifacturing, who created our beautiful new patriotic banner design. Shelley took our vision and turned it into a powerful visual that will help us continue spreading the word throughout our community — and beyond.

We are equally grateful to Terri, Bella, and the entire team at Associated Printing & Services, Inc. for their continued support, their incredibly quick turnaround in printing our banners, and their willingness to help us every step of the way. A special thank-you to Bella for making the additional adjustments needed so that these banners could also be shared outside Rutherford County.

From designing, tweaking, printing, answering questions, and helping us meet some very tight timelines, everyone has simply been incredible to work with.

What may look like “just a banner” is so much more. Each one helps us reach another community, another family, another veteran — and reminds people that something very special is coming to Rutherford County.

🤝Following the es**rt and arrival at Isothermal Community College , The Wall That Heals will be staffed by dedicated volunteers working 4-hour shifts, 24 hours a day.

We have over 30 vendors including new ones such as Grateful Grazing Crew. What? You don't know what that might be?
