Spokane County Sheriff Chaplains We support the emotional, physical, and spiritual needs of the law enforcement family and our communi

The Spokane County Chaplaincy Services will provide chaplains to meet the emotional, physical, and spiritual needs of the law enforcement family and the community when needed or requested. Our chaplains bring comfort, crisis-oriented counseling, and a consoling nature to those who may be experiencing a crisis. We do not proselytize or otherwise attempt to force a particular religious faith on anyone. We share our faith with those who seek or ask for spiritual counsel during these times. We provide these services to all regardless of race, religion, gender, or national origin.

Some of the endorsements I’m most proud of don’t come from elected officials. They come from the attorneys and prosecutors who know firsthand what it takes to do this job. I'm proud to be endorsed by Sharon Hedlund.

"As a lifelong Democrat, and 28+ year Spokane County Deputy Prosecutor, I know this office transcends party affiliation. My entire career has been under the leadership of Republicans yet politics is put aside to enforce the laws of the State of Washington, Spokane County and the city of Spokane.

I have worked with both candidates since they were interns in law school - Preston between 2012-present and the opponent between 2024-2025 - and can unequivocally attest that Preston is by far the superior candidate. His commitment
to the community is unparalleled. And he has the experience that his opponent almost completely lacks.

Please join me this November and vote for the only candidate with the demonstrable track record of being a leader within and for this office and all the citizens it serves. Preston McCollam!" - Sharon Hedlund

REFLECTIONS
There is a time … for stillness … in the Warrior Path.

Just, sit. And...
-REMEMBER, the people God placed in our lives,
-SAVOR, the victories God has blessed us with,
-LEARN, from the scars, and…
-MAKE PEACE, with the things we cannot change.

So, take time. To reflect...
-With GRATITUDE. There is great strength and healing in Gratitude.
-With FRIENDSHIP. (…Charley Dog, is a faithful heartbeat, at my feet.)
-With LOVE. The True Purpose of Life is to LOVE. So Pray for More Love.

And LISTEN for that still, small voice.

The mission continues..but never forget to thank God for the journey.
