🎉✨Happy Labor Day from Triumph Community Services!

Today we want to give a big thank you to our amazing Triumph employees.

Our team is out there every day, hitting the streets, meeting employers, making connections, and working alongside the people we serve to help them find jobs and reach their goals. We are here, we are working, and we are proud to keep doing what we do!
We also want to celebrate the people we serve and all the steps they take toward employment. That might mean practicing real-life job search skills, filling out applications, meeting employers, preparing for an interview, learning new job skills, working toward a GED, or passing that GED test. Every accomplishment matters! 🎓👏

For people with disabilities, having a job is about so much more than a paycheck. It can bring purpose, confidence, independence, friendships, and a sense of belonging. People with disabilities are workers, taxpayers, coworkers, customers, neighbors, and friends. They have talents, skills, and so much to contribute to our communities.

We are so proud of the people we work with and the progress we get to see every day. And we are grateful for the employers, families, friends, and community partners who believe in them and give them opportunities.

Here’s to every new skill, every application, every interview, every GED, every new job, and every step forward!

Happy Labor Day from all of us at Triumph Community Services! Thank you for supporting Triumph and the people we serve.

From a bucket of beads to a journey of healing. ✨

When Alberta was just 5 years old, her grandmother gave her a bucket of beads and taught her to create by listening to her heart and spirit.

After experiencing 15 years of homelessness and active addiction, Alberta shared that she had lost that connection to her Creator, her ancestors, and her art. Today, her handmade Indigenous jewelry has become a powerful part of her recovery, wellness, cultural connection, and journey forward.

And she is absolutely crushing it. 💚 Since April 2nd, Alberta has sold all 40 pairs of her handmade earrings and is officially RESTOCKING!

For Alberta, these aren't simply earrings. Every piece carries her heart, her ancestors, her Creator, and the gift her grandmother gave her all those years ago.

After first coming to Triumph 2 and a half years ago, Alberta says she "can't believe where she is now." And we're not done yet. We have some BIG plans brewing for Alberta and her art. 👀

Stay tuned. This is only her beginning.

Our hearts are with everyone affected by the recent wildfires across our community. ❤️

While Triumph Community Services has a small Community Closet with very limited inventory, we'd like to open what we have to individuals and families who have been displaced or impacted by the fires.

Our current selection includes clothing and shoes for all genders, with sizes ranging from Small to 4X. Because inventory is limited, visits are by appointment only, so we can best assist each person and keep track of what's available.

We know it's not a large-scale resource, but if what we have can help lighten the load for even one person, we'd be honored to share it.

If you or someone you know could benefit, please reach out to schedule an appointment.

💚 From our Triumph family to yours, we're thinking of everyone affected during this difficult time.

🎲 Creativity, Imagination, and Big Dreams at Triumph 🎲

One of the best parts of what we do at Triumph is getting to support clients as they explore their passions and turn creative ideas into real opportunities. Lucas has been working closely with our Business Relations Coordinator, Sean, and we are excited to spotlight the incredible work he’s been creating.

Lucas has been designing his own games completely from scratch, including the rules, game pieces, and detailed lore behind each story. His creativity, imagination, and dedication to game design have been seriously impressive to watch. From storytelling to strategy development, Lucas is building skills that showcase both innovation and entrepreneurial talent. 🎮✨

At Triumph, we believe in person-centered support that encourages clients to pursue their unique goals, interests, and career paths. Whether that means employment services, creative exploration, community inclusion, or business development, we are here to help individuals build confidence and chase what excites them most.

We cannot wait to see where Lucas’s journey takes him, and honestly, we are hoping that one day soon we’ll spot his games on the shelves at our local game stores. 👏

✨ Client Success Story | Western Washington Triumph Team ✨

At Triumph, we believe person-centered employment support can truly change lives, and this testimonial from Sabrina, one of our Western Washington clients, says it best. 💙

“A month ago, I began working with Brianna, and from the very start, everything seemed to fall into place quickly. She made the entire process feel exciting and engaging, especially as I became more involved in the community. Brianna brings so much energy and positivity and I always looked forward to our meetings and the time we spent together on job development.

What stood out most to me was how Brianna made sure I had a voice throughout the entire journey. Whether we were searching for jobs, talking with employers, or even participating in interviews together, she made sure I felt heard and supported. Our mock interviews were not only helpful but also fun, and I really appreciated how she would pause to explain things clearly so I could truly understand each step of the process.

Because of Brianna’s guidance, patience, and encouragement, I’ve grown more confident and prepared. I am proud to share that I have secured a job at Goodwill, and my start date is April 15th. This opportunity means so much to me, and I’m incredibly grateful for everything Brianna has done to help me succeed.”

🎉Congratulations on your new position at Goodwill! We are so proud of the hard work, growth, and confidence shown throughout this journey. Brianna’s dedication to individualized job coaching, community inclusion, interview preparation, and supported employment is exactly what Triumph strives to provide every client we serve.

🎓 Your Future Starts with a GED

Meet Ivan, one of our dedicated clients putting in the work toward earning his GED. Every assignment completed is another step toward new opportunities, career growth, confidence, and independence. We’re proud to walk alongside him on that journey. 💪

At Triumph, our GED program is more than test prep. We take a person-centered approach that meets each individual where they are, helping clients build skills, confidence, and real-life success at their own pace. Whether someone is returning to school after years away or balancing life, work, and family, we’re here with support that’s flexible, encouraging, and built around them.

Education changes lives, and we love seeing our clients prove to themselves just how capable they are. 🎓🔥

The Greater Spokane FCS Coalition was created for local FCS providers, by local FCS providers. This monthly gathering is a place to connect, collaborate, share resources, and strengthen support for our community across Spokane County.

📣Big shout out to Cathryn Maland with Triumph Community Services for hosting an amazing Jeopardy-style game at our last meeting and Jonathan at Peer Spokane for his support and providing a wonderful space.

Learning, laughter, and community connection all in one room.

Join us every 2nd Monday of the month at Peer Spokane. Together we share trainings, referral updates, community resources, and ideas to better serve FCS enrollees and build stronger community partnerships.

If you are an FCS provider, care coordinator, behavioral health professional, housing support specialist, peer support advocate, or community partner in Spokane County, we would love to connect with you!

📚 Growth from within at Triumph!
