Had a great time playing in this year’s National Guard Association of Washington Golf Scramble! ⛳️

Big thanks to my teammates—Command Chief Nolan, Chief Austin, and Chief Evans from the Washington Air Guard—for carrying me around the course! 😂 More importantly, we helped raise funds to support Soldiers, Airmen, and their families throughout the year.

A huge thank you to the NGAW team for coordinating and hosting another awesome event. Proud to be part of an organization that continues to support our Guard family! 🇺🇸

Wow…it’s been 10 amazing years since my beautiful bride chose forever with me. She’s absolutely the best part of this partnership and has put up with this challenging guy. 😀 We’ve also been blessed with wonderful children, extended family, friends, and work teammates. Everyone has been incredibly supportive, and it’s not lost on either of us that a strong marriage encompasses more than just the couple you see together.

Happy anniversary, Courtney! I love you so much! ❤️

Honored to have mentored the students of the First Sergeant 2.0 Course! This was an outstanding group of experienced First Sergeants committed to sharpening their skills, sharing lessons learned and continuing to make a difference across our force.

The First Sergeant is one of the most important leadership positions in our military. These leaders set the tone, take care of people, build strong teams and help Commanders and Senior Enlisted Leaders accomplish the mission.

Thank you to the cadre for investing in our First Sergeants and to every student for bringing your experience, candor and commitment to the course. Keep leading, keep mentoring and most importantly…keep taking care of our people.

People First, Mission always!

Highlighting Private First Class Murphy of the Washington State Guard for stepping up to serve the Spokane community!

PFC Murphy recently assisted the American Red Cross in Spokane by building fire relief kits for families whose homes suffered fire damage. These kits provide critical supplies to help families begin the difficult process of recovery.

This is what service looks like. Our Washington State Guard personnel are dedicated volunteers who remain ready to answer the call and support communities across Washington when they need us most.

Thank you, PFC Murphy, for your service, compassion, and commitment to helping your fellow Washingtonians. We are proud to have you on the team!

Our Washington National Guard Soldiers and Airmen are stepping up in Spokane to support the American Red Cross and local families impacted by the fires.

Together, they’re helping assemble and distribute cleanup kits for homeowners as they begin the difficult process of recovering and cleaning up their properties.

Proud to see our Guard members serving alongside community partners and helping Washington families in their time of need. 🇺🇸

As wildfires continue to impact communities across Eastern Washington, I’m incredibly proud of the Soldiers and Airmen of the Washington National Guard who have answered the call to serve.

From providing critical aviation support, to deploying hand crews alongside firefighters on the fire line, to establishing traffic control points that help keep our communities and first responders safe…our Guard members are making a difference where it’s needed most.

Thank you to every firefighter, law enforcement officer, emergency manager, volunteer and Guard member working tirelessly to protect lives, property and our beautiful state. Please keep them all in your thoughts as they continue this important mission. Stay safe.

I’m incredibly proud of our Washington Army National Guard recruiters at the Tukwila storefront for currently being the top recruiting team in the state. Every Soldier’s journey begins with a recruiter and your impact on the future of our force cannot be overstated. Thank you for representing the Washington National Guard with excellence. Keep leading the way!
