Community Powered: Public Power Week 2026: October 4th – 10th
“Your Community. Your Utility. Your Power.”

Public power starts here at home. Because Spooner Municipal Utility is municipally owned, the people of Spooner, Wisconsin have a voice in decisions about our energy future.

Reliable service takes planning, preparation, and a team committed to the community it serves. During Public Power Week, we recognize the employees of Spooner Municipal Utility who work year-round to keep Spooner powered and respond when our neighbors need us most. When service is disrupted, local crews and community-focused decision-making help Spooner Municipal Utility respond.
Our team lives and works in the community we serve.

Your community. Your utility. Your power.
