We celebrated our Chamber Members last night at the "To the Stars, Kansas Business Awards." Congratulations to Sozo Chiropractic (Dr. Alyssa OConnor) and Elite Decorative Concrete (Joshua Dickie) for winning regional awards. Their spouses, Paige Cuezze, 2026 Chamber Board Chair,Sharon Mitchell, Chamber President and State Senator Adam Thomas accompanied the honorees. Other Chamber members nominated were Pop's Sweet Shop of Spring Hill and All for Moms Foundation.

We need you!

City staff apply for a lot of grants throughout the year to help pay for needed projects and studies.

One recent win: KDOT awarded the city a $2.6 million grant for sidewalks on South St.

Now, we're looking for help funding one project and one study:
- 191st Street & Ridgeview Corridor Safety Improvements.

This includes installing a small roundabout at the entrance to the high school, installing a roundabout at 191st St. and Ridgeview Road, and adding sidewalks, bike lanes, and a multi-use trail on Ridgeview Road from 191st to 199th streets.

- Spring Hill Multimodal Corridor & Growth Strategy

This study would focus on short- and long-term transportation improvements and evaluate existing road conditions.

Part of the Mid-American Regional Council application process includes public feedback. Let them know your thoughts, and why we should get these projects funded!
