Today at Hope House, our small Well Outreach Christian gift store, an elderly man who had recently lost his wife came to visit.

He shared the story of his sweet wife of 52 years who had recently passed and how much he missed her.

We sat with him and listened, offering companionship and community.

He showed us a locket he had of of her hair, and asked Wayne, one of our Hope House staff, if we sold rosaries as he wanted to pray in remembrance of her.

Unfortunately we mostly sell apparel, decor, gifts and books…..
but no rosaries.

Seeing the sadness of our friend, Wayne went online and ordered a rosary to be delivered to our friend’s house (as a gift).

Sometimes it’s just about being together in that moment with someone… the gift of PRESENCE.

It’s one of our Well Values…and we call it KINSHIP ❤️✝️

The Spring Hill community came together Saturday, Oct. 17, for the 21st annual Whole Hog Festival, an event that raises funds and awareness for families experiencing food insecurity.
