Such a busy time of year and we at The Arc Nature Coast are no exception. That said, please begin to prepare. Advocacy is our year round work.

The countdown is already on: less than 150 days until Florida's Legislative Session begins! We're rallying all members and advocates to join us in sharing our legislative priorities with candidates and elected officials to help ensure the needs of individuals with IDD and their families remain a top priority during the 2027 session.

The Arc of Florida Board of Directors approved the 2027 Legislative Agenda, which prioritizes Provider Rate Adjustments, Standardized Transportation Rate Methodology, Managed Care Safeguards for Individuals with IDD, and Housing Choice and Supported Living Services.

We feel incredibly fortunate to have the continued support of the wonderful people in our community! 🫶

Earlier this month, we had the joy of giving back through Operation HeartF.E.L.T., bringing our clients, staff, and volunteers together to pack bags of food for children in Hernando County schools.

Our hearts are full, and we’re so grateful for the opportunity to support this meaningful cause year after year. Thank you to everyone who helps make a difference in the lives of children in our community! 💜
