Last night we joined other police and faith organizations nationally to recognize National Faith and Blue weekend. Thank you to the Spring Hill churches for partnering with us to host a movie and provide 🌭 , chips, 🍿 , and water for dinner. Also, thanks to Spring Hill Recreation for letting us join in on their 🏃‍♀️ 🏃🏾‍♂️🏃. We watched a classic, Zootopia, and it was a great night under the stars.

We had a great time today reading books to kindergarten, first, and second graders at Dayton Creek Elementary School 📚

The students were great listeners as they learned about bike safety and saw all the bells and whistles of our new police bicycles.

They also asked wonderful questions about what it's like to be a police officer 👮

Thanks for having us out!

I represented the members of the Spring Hill Police Department at the City Of Overland Park’s 25th Anniversary 911 Remembrance Ceremony this morning. It is always a solemn occasion when we pause to remember the events of 09/11/2001 and the lives lost. Our hearts go out to those who lost loved ones because of the events on that day. We are grateful to all the first responders and military service members who gave their lives to serve and protect. We remember and will never forget.
