On Oct. 19, the Spring Lake Fire Department participated in hands-on vehicle extrication training - an essential skill that helps us safely and quickly rescue patients trapped in vehicles after a crash.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to the 2026 Spring Lake Fire Department Open House! We loved seeing so many members of our community, families, and friends join us for an afternoon of fun, learning, and celebrating our fire department.

We are incredibly grateful for everyone who helped make this event such a success, and especially thankful to all of you who took the time to attend and support your local firefighters.

Brush Burn Day Rescheduled

The Brush Burn Day scheduled for Sept. 19, 2026, was rained out and has been rescheduled to Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026. If you received a burn permit for the Sept. 19 date, you do not need to receive another. A permit is required to participate in Burn Day. Request a permit at the Township Hall, 101 S. Buchanan St., or download the application online and bring into the office for payment: https://www.springlaketwp.org/175/Fire-Department
