The Spring Lake area is starting to see some peeks of fall color in pockets around the area! Peak color is expected in West Michigan around the last week of October. Enjoy some of the beautiful scenery unfolding around us in the Village of Spring Lake and Spring Lake Township as the season transitions.

On Tuesday, Oct. 13, Spring Lake Township Cemetery staff will be performing routine annual maintenance of blowing out the irrigation system and spigots to prepare for winter.

𝐇𝐲𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐅𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠

Spring Lake Public Works will begin flushing hydrants the week of Oct. 5, 2026, and continue until complete. There will be overnight and daytime flushing occurring in the Village and Township in this period. During flushing, residents may experience temporary changes in the water (i.e. discoloration, taste, smell, etc.) reduced water pressure, and air in the lines. If you experience any water changes, please run a cold-water faucet for several minutes until it clears.
