Nominations are open for the Illinois Valley 40 Under Forty Awards, recognizing young professionals and community leaders under 40 who are making an impact in LaSalle, Bureau, and Putnam counties.
Lactation care is so much more than checking a latch. Over the past 5 years, I’ve had the privilege of building my lactation practice and supporting hundreds of local families through some of the most vulnerable and important days of parenthood. Being able to provide breastfeeding education, support, and accessible lactation care right here in our community is something I’m incredibly proud of. I’ve also been fortunate to partner with Mothers' Milk Bank of the Western Great Lakes by providing education and a local space where mothers can donate breast milk, helping make milk donation more accessible for families in our area.
