With temperatures expected to drop into the 30's over the next few days the Mission has started distributing Winter Gear. Among our most needed items are:
SLEEPING BAGS: We only have a handful of sleeping bags in stock and are in desperate need of donations.
Cough and Cold Medicine: Extremely low stock of cough and cold medicines. Caplets only please.
BLANKETS: Extremely Low Stock. We have a very limited supply on hand and this is among the most requested items we have during the winter months.
BACKPACKS: Extremely Low Stock. This is among the most requested items throughout the year, but especially during the Winter Months.
Jeans and Sweatshirts: All sizes, but especially in need of Men's Jeans. Our small stock of sweatshirts and hoodies will go fast with cold temperatures.
Gloves and Socks: During the winter months, the Mission will distribute close to 200 pairs of each, every single week.
Winter Coats: The Mission will distribute 600 - 1,000 coats over the next few months to community members.
Hand, Foot and Body Warmers: Low stock. One of the most requested items when temperatures dip below freezing.
