Miss. Merrow's Class has enjoyed learning about apples and their attributes. Students have practiced their rhyming skills while making an apple tree of rhyming words. They also learned all about different shapes. After learning about apples students enjoyed making their very own apple sauce one day and then making apple pie in a cup another day.

Mrs. Kurpiel’s class headed into the woods for some hands-on learning and time in nature! Students explored the forest, observed Mother Nature all around them, and enjoyed discovering the sights, sounds, and wonders of the outdoors. 🌳🐿️🍃

Thank you to Mike Janiszyn and Pete's Stand for the donation of pumpkins and cornstalks to beautify the SHS campus this Fall! Mr. J was a longtime English teacher at SHS and made sure to bring pumpkins and cornstalks from his family farm stand each year, and he continues to do so even after retirement. Our students were able to place them around campus during advisory. We appreciate it so much!
