Our Elections staff had a great time meeting neighbors at the East Forest Park National Night Out at Nathan Bill Park!

We were proud to promote National Voter Registration Day and help residents register, update their information, and check their voter status.

Democracy works best when everyone is on the list. If you haven’t registered yet, or you’ve moved, changed your name, or need to confirm your polling place, there’s still time.

Register or check your status: https://www.springfield-ma.gov/elections/

Online registration (MA): https://www.sec.state.ma.us/ovr/

Questions? Call the Springfield Election Commission at (413) 787-6190.

Thank you to the East Forest Park Civic Association, first responders, and everyone who stopped by our table!

Look closely. Every flag is a Springfield voter who refused to sit this one out.

UOCAVA ballots are in from around the world for our state election — military, overseas citizens, and families voting from far outside Massachusetts.

You don’t have to be on Main Street to have a say in Springfield.

📕 The Red Book is in the building!
Secretary of the Commonwealth William Galvin is mailing out the official Massachusetts Information for Voters booklet, better known around here as the Red Book, with everything you need to know about the 2026 ballot questions for the November 3rd State Election.

Our City of Springfield team (and one very committed skeleton intern 💀) couldn’t wait to show theirs off.

When yours arrives in the mail, flip through it, visit VoteInMA.com, and get informed before you vote.

Look who stopped by their old stomping grounds today! 🗳️

Former City Councilor (and City Council President) Jesse Lederman and his wife Emila came through Springfield City Hall on the last day of in-person early voting to cast their ballots in the State Primary.

Some people just can’t stay away from City Hall…and we’re glad they can’t. Thanks for leading by example, Jesse and Emila!

Early voting wraps up today at 4:00 p.m. at City Hall (36 Court Street, ground floor; accessible entrance in the rear). Election Day is Tuesday, September 1, 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Your vote still counts. Make it count.
