Today, we remember. 🇺🇸

On September 11, 2001, our nation was forever changed. We honor the nearly 3,000 lives lost, the first responders who ran toward danger, the families who carried unimaginable loss, and the service members who answered our nation’s call in the years that followed.

Twenty-five years later, their courage, sacrifice, and memory remain with us.

We will never forget.

🎓 Thinking about a U.S. Service Academy? This is your first step.

If you’re serious about attending one of the nation’s elite Service Academies, a Congressional Nomination is REQUIRED — and this event is your chance to start that process.
Join Congressman Darin LaHood and representatives from each U.S. Service Academy to learn what it takes to earn an appointment. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions, understand the nomination process, and get face-to-face guidance on how to stand out.
💡 Members of Congress are looking for well-rounded candidates who demonstrate:
✔️ Strong academics
✔️ Proven leadership
✔️ Athletic involvement
📍 Be prepared to provide your ZIP code, state, or congressional district — nominations are based on where you live.
📅 Don’t miss this opportunity to take the next step toward becoming a future leader.
📌 See flyer for full event details & RSVP information.
