🔬🧫 Exploring the World of Microbiology!

A group of our 9th grade scholars recently visited the STCC campus for a special microbiology event hosted by UMass Amherst!

Students got hands-on experience creating colorful “agar art,” exploring the microscopic world through microscopes, connecting with college microbiology students, and hearing from professional scientists about their work in the field.

Experiences like these give our scholars a chance to explore new interests, discover potential career paths, and see the exciting opportunities that await them in college and beyond!

🌎 Honoring Indigenous Peoples’ Day Through Student Voice 💜💛

In recognition of Indigenous Peoples’ Day, we're proud to share a powerful reflection written by Veritas Prep 8th grader, Nateyah Carter.

As a Native American student, Nateyah shares why this day is deeply personal to her and why understanding history, honoring Indigenous cultures, and making sure Native voices are heard matters.

💬 “I want to let people all around the world know the real history behind Native Americans and our land.” — Nateyah Carter, 8th Grade

Thank you, Nateyah, for sharing your voice, your perspective, and a piece of your story with our Veritas community!

What a season for our Veritas Prep Cross Country team! 🐍

From the first practice to the final meet, our athletes challenged themselves, pushed through obstacles, and cheered each other on every step of the way. It was incredible to watch their confidence grow as they celebrated personal progress and team accomplishments!

We couldn't be prouder of the dedication, perseverance, and team spirit these student-athletes showed all season long!

What if college started in 5th grade?

At Veritas Prep, it does. 💜💛

From the moment our students walk through our doors in 5th grade, we're helping them see college not as a distant possibility, but as something they can work toward, experience, and achieve.

And by high school, they're not just preparing for college. They're taking real college courses, earning college credits, and building a future they can see for themselves.

Don't just take our word for it. Watch our students. They're the proof. ▶️
