A main line of storms will approach from the west later this afternoon. This is only for the potential of strong to severe wind gusts, but a non-zero chance, nonetheless. This just means you may feel the impacts of gusty winds blowing around outdoor furniture and decorations.

Within the white region exists another area to watch for these isolated higher totals, although confidence is lower there. Take care and enjoy the rain!

Tuesday Morning Update: Areas northeast and east of Louisville are now under an Enhanced Risk of severe weather. The severe risk drops the farther south and west due to high pressure's influence. Damaging winds and torrential rainfall are the main threats; however, an isolated tornado can't be ruled out.

Stronger thunderstorms capable of producing gusty winds and heavy downpours are possible on Tuesday, but there is low confidence due to the timing and strength of these storms. Stay up to date for the latest forecast and any additional updates as we get closer to Tuesday.
